My Privacy Policy
This is a cookie-free, ad-free site.
This website only collects personal information that you choose to enter in my contact form. This will include your name and email, and potentially a phone number if you choose to enter it. This information is kept private and used only to contact you directly and will not be sold to a third party.
I respect your personal information.
Wix.com
This website is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Your data (limited to anything you enter in the contact form) may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall.
All direct payment gateways offered by Wix.com and used by my business adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.
I may contact you to notify you regarding your account, to troubleshoot problems with your account, to resolve a dispute, to collect fees or monies owed, to poll your opinions through surveys or questionnaires, to send updates about our company, or as otherwise necessary to contact you to enforce our User Agreement, applicable national laws, and any agreement we may have with you. For these purposes we may contact you via email, telephone, text messages, and postal mail.
Personally Identifiable Information (PII) and Protected Health Information
Health information is collected in a separate Google Form, which will become accessible to you after you sign a contract with me, the educator, acknowledging that you are providing me with your health history and concerns so that I can educate you more personally about your menstrual health. I specify in the contract that your health information is kept completely private, not to be discussed with anyone besides you, the client—unless you provide explicit permission, in writing, to share your case to my colleagues as a case study. (In these scenarios, your health information will be shared with graduates of The Well and I will use an alternate name to protect your anonymity.)
Collected information will be stored indefinitely, unless changes are made to your individual contract by your request.
Group emails (for group classes or quarterly newsletters) will use the Bcc line to avoid sharing of email addresses. If you'd like a fellow student's contact info, you will have to request it through them personally, since I'm obligated to protect contact information for privacy reasons.
This business has signed a Business Associate Agreement with Google to comply with HIPAA. All documents and email communications are stored in Google Workplace with encryption.
This business complies with the Idaho Consumer Protection Act.
Class Recordings
Occasionally I host group classes online or in person. I never require you to share your health information with the group. If you would like to keep your name private, please be proactive and let me know if you'd like me to call you by another name, and make sure to change the name displayed on your online profile (I use Google Meet for online classes). Sometimes students request that I record a class; if you do not want your voice or image in the recording, please talk to me in advance so that we can make appropriate arrangements.
